In the last year, I started high school, worked a full summer at a camp, attended the midnight premiere of HP6 in full costume, and left the country for the first time. All of which would have been convenient times to begin a blog. However, I chose today. Today is the day that a fellow classmate of mine, by the name of Dan, died. He had a ringworm, was allergic to the medication, had a seizure, became comatose, and passed away this afternoon. *EDIT* (there are too many rumors circulating about how he died, because the hospital has yet to release any papers and the family does not need us asking them about it right now.) And today is the day that I begin to blog. How cheerie of me.
I'm proud of our class, and how we have bonded together so quickly. A mere six hours after his death, we have already planned to mourn by disregardin uniform policy, wearing black polos and sweatpants. Rubber wristbands are being made in his memory, and we are already planning our memorial for every football game, every dance, every day of high school.
Wea re doing all of this because we all truly believe that, though he may have left this Earth, if he stays remembered he will be very much alive in our hearts and minds forever and always.
Rest in peace, to a great student, friend, athlete, and all around human being. you will be missed, Dan Falco.
