Never have I seen a group of people so shattered, yet so united.
Breaking uniform dress code almost got our tag day (pay money to wear your own clothes) removed, but we somehow sidestepped that and are wearing black again tomorrow.
Our school almost didn't have any sort of prayer service for Dan, but we threatened to walk out if they didn't, because he deserves beign remembered.
All day was tough, watching the strongest people I know cry. Every single sophomore cried themselves into dehydration. We were allowed to leave class if we needed too, and we did. Most of us sat in the cafeteria and cried until the service at lunch, where we cried even harder. People were there for everyone, hugging those we barely knew. It brought us together under the worst of circumstances.
After the ceremony, the teachers came around trying to force us all to eat or drink or talk or something, but we were just a sort of blob of crying hysterical fiftee year olds.
What fun.
